open source/free software research paper

I'm doing a research paper on why software should be free and/or open source. If anyone knows of any good resources (non-internet especially) please let me know. I need 20 sources, and have 5 already. Thanks. :)

In my opinion, developers should get paid for their work unless they choose to do it for free(such as PHP, Apache, Linux, etc.). Maybe you should change the title of your paper to why open source software is better than not open source...

You may already have it, but how about ESR's The Cathedral and the Bazaar? It's available online (http://www.catb.org/~esr/writings/cathedral-bazaar/) and in print (http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/cb/).

Look around the big freeware sites: Freewarehome, Nonags, Top Quality Freeware, Moochers, etc.

Okay, I've found plenty of online sources, but I need three more offline sources. Any good newspaper/magazine articles?
