TIA Paul Jr 12-11-2003, 07:24 PM People have recomended GIMP. (http://www.gimp.org) rhyeguy 12-16-2003, 11:56 PM if you are using Photoshop 6 or later, have you tried the dust and scratches filter, under the noise modifier? If that doesn't work, you can always apply a mask and hunt down those nasty specks one at a time, then resave for web... best, sketcher:) edit>>you should convert the image to rgb first, though (Image>Mode>RBG Color). Paul Jr 12-17-2003, 06:58 PM I hate to sound antagonizing, but readville is looking for some free or cheap graphics software. Which means he doesn't currently have any, and he doesn't want to spend a lot of money; photoshop is not cheap. rhyeguy 12-17-2003, 08:21 PM hehe. too true. 'tis not cheap!:D perhaps he should download the trial version of Paint Shop Pro? or... Get a JOB and buy Pshop!!! JK, sketcher:) readville 12-17-2003, 08:21 PM Thanks for the responses. I'm coming around to the idea that you need top-end software to do top-end work. I'll look into Photoshop. rhyeguy 12-17-2003, 08:31 PM best of luck m8! you won't regret it (eventually). :D post your image and let us take a look at it. maybe we can help you out. best, sketcher:) webdeveloper.com
