i want to put video on my site using mov format, played with quicktime plugin. im using premiere to write mov's. can anyone make some suggestions for codecs to use?

the first one i tryed was mpeg-4 but the files i was getting from that were like 30 mb at 360x240. sorenson cut the files in half but that is still too big. please help.

the video files are 1 min long.

Sorenson Video 3 cuts it off even more, but old OLD QT plugin browsers won't play it back; for audio I use IMA 4:1, Mono, 22.05kHz, 16bits.
Also you have to change the quality of the video in compression, size, colors and of course cutting off the frame rate (Something like 12 - 8 FPS); you have to play with those variables until you get the best relation between file size and quality.
See this video from Apple's site (http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/troy/medium.html) it has Sorenson Video 3, 320 x 136, millions of colors, 12 FPS.. it looks good even at double size.
Giving the user the option to choose the quality of the video is a good idea since not all users have broadband and you keep serving the good stuff.
