you really shouldn't use marquees! if you want a complex scroller, maybe you should ask in the JavaScript forum.

filter:wave and filter:glow are IE only, so anybody not using IE(waves "hi") is going to see plain text used as a marquee. You also hit at least three, or four of my listed common web design errors. (http://www.matts-website.net/geek/wdmistakes.html) In the end, I wouldn't use the marquee even if it is "cool."
