Just, in windows menu, in the search place, type: msconfig
then go to "boot" tab, there below the window, is a button that says advanced options, clic on it, then in there, clic on the square that says number of processors, and then assign all the processors you have in case of a multi processor cpu, and then clic accept. And again, and then it will prompt for reboot, reboot and that's all, you will see your machine booting faster than before, this it's because win 7 have this disable by default. Take care!

Windows 7 boots pretty fast, I mean compared to vista...nice tweak tho, for people that have a multi-processor cpu. One can also disable the startup items that are not needed
