flash display welcome screen but not start

Hi friends

I have flash cs3 when i click to open it flash welcome screen comes for few seconds but flash not starts

can someone tell me how to fix this problem

It could be an Adobe update is locked up, preventing the program from opening. If you've got the whole CS3 package, I suggest opening another program in it (like DW or FW) and running the autoupdate/search for updates. If, indeed, there's another (previous) update in the queue, this will get rid of it.
