Hello everyone,

I discovered this forum about a month ago, and until today I wasn't able to register because I couldn't see the toolbar at the top of the page. I enabled JavaScript and disabled my pop-up blocker, but still I was unable to view it. I have two computers in my house and I couldn't see the toolbar on either one of them. I even asked someone on another forum that I visit to come here and tell me what the toolbar said, but they couldn't see it either. And because you can't make a thread or post as a guest, I couldn't ask anyone here for help.

It wasn't until I setup a third computer in my room that I was finally able to see it and find out the answer I needed.

I would suggest an alternative to this, because it was very frustrating, and I doubt I'm the only person in the world who has had this problem. Now that I'm registered it won't make any difference for me, but I thought I would let you guys know so that future visitors won't have this problem as well. :)

Sorry that you misunderstood the instructions, it's not your pop-up blocker that is mentioned on the registration page, but content blocker which needs to be disabled. If there is no content blocking and JavaScript is enabled, the toolbar will appear in every major browser. It's been tested in IE (all versions) Firefox, opera, chrome and safari.

Oh I see, where do you disable the content blocker?

Well, it depends on your browser. Content blocking is available in most of the major browsers these days. I don't think plain old IE has it, but Firefox does, Opera for certain. It's a native feature in Opera, I'm not sure if it requires a plug-in in Firefox or not.

It's also a function of some firewalls, so it may not be strictly the browser preventing it from appearing.
