where can I find a shopping cart software to place into my site?

I am hoping that you could help me find or suggest any shopping cart software
to put into my website. I have a niche website, and I'm planning to put up my own shopping cart and not relying on Clickbank.com. does anyone have any idea where I could find one? Thanks in advance.

Is this for many products or just a few? Do you plan on accepting credit cards on the site or just using the processor's page? You may not need much and something simple is usually better than something in excess.
