Who can tell me how to do this? Eye for Video 11-08-2010, 09:54 AM One option is to use Windows Media Encoder... free and works well: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/howto/articles/screencap.aspx Of course you need some type of microphone capturing the audio as you do stuff on the screen. CamStudio is another option: http://camstudio.org/ Just remember the first rule in goal setting, "Begin with the end in mind". So whatever you choose to do the capture, be sure to decide how the finished tutorial will be presented to the students first.... will it be Web browsers based? will it play from a CD or from a local machine? or what?? The reason that is so important is that you need to choose a file format that works for the final delivery... for example, if web browser based, you might want to choose to display the tutorials as .flv (Flash) video files because of cross browser compatability. Then choose a screen capture method that allows you to produce a .flv as the final output. Has a neat close up feature allowing for zoom in on certain sections automatically set as mouse moves makes it nice. example in use www.flvhosting.com/codegenerator webdeveloper.com
