Dreamweaver validator problem

Hello,
I have dreamweaver cs5 and I can't figure how to use a validator. For example a have html or css page open and click on validate icon (green arrow) on the panel. But "Validate current document" isn't active! What I do wrong?

A better solution is to validate here:
http://validator.w3.org/
chose the "Validate by file upload" tab

Yes, I know this solution =) But I just wonder why it doesn't work in Dremweaver? Anyway, thanks. http://validator.w3.org/ is the best solution, so maybe I don't need dreamweaver...
