Java vs Asp.net or both

Hi, I like both and can't decide whether to go to be a Java Web developer or Asp.net Web developer. Or is it possible to be both but will I have a more stressful career yet more opportunities due to my variety of skills in 2 web languages?

I would say the major web language is PHP at the moment, but regardless, the more languages you are reasonably proficient in, the more opportunities you will have to work. I would definitely learn ASP first, and then Java, unless you also have interest in other development, where Java is more common.
