nav script

i need a script that makes a nav bar(left side) that has closeable submenues(like the side bar on windows explorer but click the name not the boxes) i tried flash and dont know how

You would be better off to look for a pre-made scripts, since I doubt anyone is going to make you a complete menu script for free. Better yet, don't use a JS dependant menu...
