Hi angelpanda525 based on current situation, I predict mobile development to take off at least in the coming years. It maybe worthwhile to dabble in mobile development.

This is a trend in IT line. 10 years ago, web development is *HOT* so hot that it spawn PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSP, ASP etc etc web related technologies.

Now the next trend should be mobile. But the market is quite fragmented at the moment just like the 90's browser wars arena. Developers need to arm themselves with different mobile platform SDK e.g Apple Objective-C, Android, RIM Blackberry, Nokia Symbian etc etc.

Someday if it arrives, there should be only *ONE* SDK one need to learn so the developed applications can run on multiple smart-phones and tablets ;)
