Can anybody recommend some good link-building & tracking software?

I'm looking at writing a simple app to track and manage link building requests - something that will fire an email off to the thrid party site and which you can report on which ones have replied and added your link to their site etc etc.

Any tips/advice appreciated

Are you planning to build it yourself or hire a team? I can help with the 2nd option as I have some of my work developed in in India & Pakistan by small teams.

I'd write it myself if i went down that route, would rather use a tried and testing one though. Thanks anyway

Clicktrax ( Log file analyzer )
Conversion Ruler ( Tracks per per click ads )
Extreme Tracking ( Free web based tracking software package )

Clicktrax cost like $50 - $500 per month but has a free trial.
Conversion ruler cost like $20 per month also has free trial.
