You will not post advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or solicitations. You will not, furthermore, collect personal information for the purpose of sending any advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or solicitations through other means (email, messaging programs, etc.).

We allow users to post a link to their own web design/devlopment sites, since that is the topic of the forum, and so users taking their advice on coding practices can see for themselves if it's safe to do so. However that is the only type of commercial site permitted to be linked on the forum, and it must belong to the user themselves, they may not advertise anyone else's.

Yours was not a web design development site, and it was a blatant advertisement in addition to that. So unfortunately it doesn't qualify in any way.

Just want to double check, if my own website contains google ad would this be ok?

That makes it a commercial site, so it would need to be your own web design or web development site. We define commercial as anything intended to generate revenue.
