Hi Guys,

Just need some advise on the following. I'm running a website for my business using 1 domain name which is my business name. I've also got a few inactive domain names relevant to my search keywords and I would like them to start working for my business. What's the best way to accomplish this? Any suggestions/links will be highly appreciated.

Thanks!
ALex

The best way would be lots of mini-sites rich in the right keywords (but naturally), with regularly updated unique content, and links through to your main site, but also hosted on different servers with different companies (as apparently Google is now looking at the host location too, so if lots of sites link together, but they all share the same host company, it's not regarded as highly as if they were in multiple worldwide locations)!

Otherwise, listing the domains appropriately with links through to the domain, and then a 301 redirect within the htaccess to an appropriate keyword rich page on your main website. Not as useful as the above, but shoudl help a bit (but not as much as a great main website, with lots of genuine links from other popular genuine sites in a similar sector, and of course great content, regularly updated, etc..).

You could also try domain mapping, but I have some hesitations about this (as Google seemed to look down on it about 2-3 years ago, based on some page rankings that were affected).
