Hi all. I could use some help and recommendations here. I'm a part-time fly fishing guide, and I've been tasked with maintaining our outfitter's Web site. It's pretty straight-forward, just HTML, nothing fancy. I was picked because I have some (very limited) Web site design/HTML experience.
I would prefer to use a WYSIWYG HTML Editor, and clean up the HTML as needed. I also need to train others on how to update the site. These people don't have any experience at all with HTML. We don't have a lot of money to spend on something like Dreamweaver.
Can anyone recommend a free or cheap WYSIWYG HTML Editor for me? I started working through Major Payne's "sticky" HTML editors thread.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Use Amaya (http://www.w3.org/Amaya/) and you won't have to clean up the HTML.

If you are going to train people how to edit the pages, I would decide to use a content management system such as wordpress. If they need to access the pages quickly and edit it on the fly, they should use www.easywebcontent.com

I've got to stop you there, wordpress is NOT a CMS, it's a blogging platform - don't use wordpress expecting it to do what a CMS will do because you'll end up starting all over again.
Sorry, but had to correct you there from experience...!

It is very easy to set up a very small cms that can add/edit and delete content.. I build a very simple one in php that I attach to most sites. It simply uses the fckEditor and a database
This site is not live anymore but here is a small example of what I have done with it.. This site allows the user to create new pages as well.. when a new page is added it will appear on the left navigation
