Code for Fire

Help for a newbie! I need to add some fire (in motion) to my web site. Does anyone have code or a reference to a site that might have burning fire code? Thanks.

It wouldn't be very easy to write code in which creates fire animation, actually quite complex. Therefore why don't you just search around for a fire animation (http://images.google.com/images?q=fire+animation&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search)?

How about using Flash and put your Alpha value to 30ish or try Photoshop and keeping the image transparent. It could be quite effective but it will take time to build.
You will probably have to loop whatever you come up with.
