Navigation Menu Problems

Hi Guys,
I've made a page that has a Navigation Menu script displayed at the top of the page. When I place applets below this menu, when the menus drop down they are covered up by the applet. Is there a way to force the applet to the background, or alternatively force the menu to the foreground.

I once had problems with a dropdown menu appearing below an iframe.
