fredmv, moderator?

Has anyone considered making fredmv a moderator or some such thing in the JS forum? He seems to know his stuff, and has helped many a problem-ridden developer.

I have sent the Resident CompGuy a PM a while back, he says he must confer with other JS moderators. This worries me, as it has been some time.

I would have no reason to remember the name of the ASP Moderator since I use non-proprietary server side solutions.

I don't even have to remember the real name of CompGuy Pete because we go back years and he still cannot shackle me to be a moderator - he has tried before but failed.

I mean the pay is dirt (lol :p ) but it still has to say something (I am still trying to figure out what though... either too much free time, or trust worthy)

You can ask Pete if you want if he still can remember, which is highly unlikely because it was aeons ago the last time he politely asked and I declined.

The overview being; I don't need status being completely mercenary; except for obviously I don't visit forums: provide web accessibility retrofitting, or do web authoring for fame or monetary gain.

Neither do I need to prove myself to be trustworthy nor otherwise you could say who would be foolish enough to accept such an offer...

That is why I am expensive occasionally I get offered such positions from various forums but they don't need to buy my loyalty since it in itself is priceless, or worthless depending upon how you want to view the situation.

I function on my own terms and conditions I am emissary from the Dark God of XHTML as it so happens I did remember your screen name but not because of your title; since action is the proper fruit of knowledge.

;) well remember, a forum such as this would not be able to run without moderators. So without mods you loose a perfectly good soap box to climb up on :D

Whoever undertakes to set himself up as judge in the field of truth and knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the Gods. You misunderstood part of what I was saying there was no soapbox if there were I would have PM'd.

I have nothing against people wanting to be come a moderator and keep order; no it wasn't "profound" it just read that way to some people because they let themselves believe the words were heavy as lead when they were as light as wool just spun.

As you are aware no great genius has ever existed without some touch of madness although I was under the impression this topic was supposed to be about fredmv (who I wish good luck) but if you keep quoting me, well anyway...

I think it that wraps it up of it could veer of course.

well, I took the job because pete was the only one up in that barron waste land that is the asp forum, and I am the only regular poster there that has been around for a while and not caused problems (i guess). EVERYONE QUOTE ROBERT!!!
