I am very new to current web developement (I only know little html, flash, swish). I use CuteSite Builder for my current web building application. But, its time to get serious. I need some unbias opinions as to which software package to devote time to learn/use. DreamWeaver MX 2004 or GoLive. Which would be more friendly to me, ease of use, tutorials and support...you know.

Thanks for your time everyone.

Peace.

Take a look at this thread: http://forums.webdeveloper.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24307

Please note, however, that these tools are no substitute for knowing how to hard code the pages yourself...

Hi!
But, its time to get serious...
My opinion is not neutral - anyway: if you seriously want to deal with that, start learning (or learning more) HTML, CSS, Javascript, some serverside language like PHP or so and do your stuff manually.

Nothing against the software packages you mentioned, but they are designed for people who want to make something like websites without seriously trying to understand, what is behind all that...
