Hi,
I'm a beginner in this field.
I did some digging on the web but can't get further - would appreciate
a pointer.

I have free web space on my ISPs server under:
http://freeweb.optinet.hr/~vbalas1

There I did a basic index.html which then points to a few different
areas of my interests/needs (links to those pages):
-woodwork
-private sales
....
- my apartments for rent (Delfini Apartments).

As I'm out of cash, I'd very much like to get the SEO working
for the Delfini Apartments, but a google search eg. ("Delfini Apartments"
and "Sv. Filip i Jakov") come up empty handed although I have:
-added those words in meta description
-listed my site with Google/Web master tools
-have added Google Analytics and see the counts go up when I access :
http://freeweb.optinet.hr/~vbalas1/delfini/delfini.html

Any pointers would be welcome !

Well, I got no help from anyone but learned that I can add my site on Google.
My site can now be found if I use the name of the apartments "Apartments Delfini" as search word, but if I type in the name of the town "Sv. Filip i Jakov"(which I also include in the description meta tag and throughout the web pages), the search does not find my web pages (nothing in the 43 web pages that are found.

Is there any explanation for this / what do I need to focus on to get specific words to be found via Google search ?

Add your website to google webmaster tool. And also submit sitemap to google. May be google is not finding your website because of dynamic URL..

I added my page to Google - that is what got my pages found via "apartment name" and "apartment name" and "town". I also added Google analytics at the same time. As far as I understand, I can't add a sitemap as it is asking for contents on domain level and I only have space on an ISP's free web space i.e. lower down. About the dynamic url - just looked it up - no, I don't generate web page urls from any database or anything similar.

Did some more searches and here's the full story:
"apartment name" - found
"apartment name" and "town" - found
"town" - finds only an advert of the apartment from an advertising agancy I use, on page 31 of the searches - doesn't find my web page.
