Hi everyone,
I've recently been looking into relocating to NYC. I've had a few interviews set up, but I am not entirely sure as to what I should be asking for as far as my salary. I've been looking into apartments and will likely be paying $2500-$3000 / month by the looks of it. I would like to hear from people who have worked in NYC, or any other large metropolitan area.
Thanks a lot,
-G.

move to the bronx, or try queens. Manhattan is for the rich. don't waste your bread[money] until you have it:).
Union square is where it's at. Uptown is for the money, heights is for the dominican honeys. queens is for the ladies, and brooklyn be a little shady. Long isalnd is for the birds and staten Island...whats that!
Or maybe try jersey.
Money.....don't ever have an asking price in New York that was my mistake. Your prices changes with your mood. If you feel like being rich you say 100million. Cause nobody in NY sticks to the first price they will wiggle your ass down. So bet high and hope they foolish enough to take it....I know it sounds weird but you will understand when you get out there.
Riches city in the world and he's worried about price. You better Worry about your name and reputation, price is meaningless in New york. If you want a 10,000 dollar bag go to china town and buy it for 40. you get what I'm saying.
Focus on networking and making friends the rest will follow. if you say price you will miss out on everything. Take the lead and they'll steer you where you need to go. Always ask questions and nobody will **** with you. it's the ones that don't that get into trouble. it's harder then it sounds.
but that's all........................long live the king. You know what came before that. lmao inside joke.
