I am in the process of researching scripts in order to build a community site

this is what i want the site to do.

I want everthing to run from one database so that users only have to register once

Have a Message board.. MySQl/php based i was thinking vbulletin

i want a image gallery that users can post to and review other images with many categories

i was thinking of PhotoPost PHp

i want a download script where I & users can upload a ziped file and a seperate thumbnail. with a description and it would be available for other users to download (maybe once aproved by me)

i havent seen a script like this anyone know of one. that will still work on the same system as the other two above scripts.

a product review script.. for products i can review and users can post their own reviews and comments.

this is alot to ask i relalize i just need some script recommendations

Thanks

For your third query, look at http://www.phparena.net/pafiledb.php

Not sure about the fourth though. Can't seem to remember any specifically, so I would just be searching the sites I linked you to, and google, of course.

"users can post"...a user is someone thats got a name attached to him somehow...which requiers some kind of login system

pyro...although ur right most the time...ur not always the best(not saying im the one whos better)
--just because you did one doesn't mean its the best one out there, plus mine doesnb't require mssql(although mines prob not as good, although i worked on it for a couple weeks, of course im still getting the hang of php)

<soapbox>Never said that I was. I mearly was trying to point out the "need a script, pm me" mentality, and as these are a public fourms, it's nice to help people directly through them. This way, we benefit all, including future users who may search for something and thus come upon the thread. If the help is given privately, these threads will be of no use to them 3 or 6 months down the road. I speak from experience there, as I've searched for answers to questions I've had on other forums, and been frusterted when questions were answered that way.</soapbox>

The put your name in the file, and explicitly state that it *must* remain in the file as long as the person is going to use it. You'll just have to trust that they'll leave it in.
