Getting My Site Crawled

I recently re-designed a site that I had for about 6 months, but it's been 9 days now and it still hasn't been crawled by Google. I did a bunch of high PR backlinking a week ago, but still nothing. Is there a reason that Google is not picking up the new site still?

i believe SE crawling depend on many factors.. suggest you can resubmit your website to search engine.

Search Engine is used many factors crawling for websites. please submit your website in other directories. Search Engine is crawled continuously.

Do some microbloging for your site specialy submit your site in identi.ca, your site will be catch after some hours or after one day.

true there are several factors for the google to craw you site.. you should add robot.txt, submit to google webmaster toolkit. verify etc,. beside 9 days? you should wait for the google indexing.. when? i don't know only google knows.
