Hi,

I'm new here, so I may not be posting this in the right place. I've developed my own website at home using Tomcat. I've registered for a domain name on a website, so I have that end under control. My question is, how do I make my website viewable on the internet, using that domain name? Does anyone have a place to point me to that might help?

My set up consists of a computer behind a router on a cable internet connection, so I'd need a way to register my IP with the DNS server dynamically. I have a basic understanding of what needs to happen, I just don't know how to do it.

Anyways, if anyone could help, I'd be grateful!!

go into your router and map out ports to your dns and your server. You might also need to set your machine in a dmz. You can read all about that in your router's manual. If you do not know how to modify router settings post back and I can help you through it.
