Outlook 2003

I have recently migrated from OE to MS Outlook 2003. (When I went from an XP machine to a Win 7 machine.) In OE, wherever I would navigate from folder to folder, I could type the first part of the folder name and I it would take me to the foder. In MS Outlook 2003, I get that behaviour in some situations, but not all. Is this just lost functionality, or is there a setting I am overlooking?

You want to try OE 2010, I have only just managed to figure out how to send a diary appointment so it does not arrive at the other machine in a state that it will add to that diary.

Seems that sending appointments to myself at work is a chore that I was not banking on being awkward. It certainly seems that M$ is or has moved stuff and using windows livemail, I ditched it, the pain in the rear. I fail to see how it "Enhances" my experience. I am pretty much old skool when it comes to programs, FUNCTION over LOOKS, I would rather a program do the job its meant to do rather than what it looks like.
