Promoting posts to blogs or articles in a forum

Hello
I have a forum website about a certain subject that uses the vbulletin system. There is a feature called promote to blog or article for the posts that I like. If i do that, since the post will now exist both in the posts section and also in the blog or even article section of the website, will this be treated as duplicate content and therefore I will be penalized or it doesnt matter?

Your content is considered as duplicate if you are showing same content on different url.
If this topic is displayed in blogs forums or in any other section then it is ok but if it is accessed by different url then it is wrong.

yes i understand no it is under the same domain name of course but by of course it has different specific address to go there.. i assume you meant domain name by saying url

if it is having different specific address to go there then it does not matter but if it is having different specific address/url to display same content then it is duplicate.

for example if you are showing one piece of content on blog and on forum with this url
"http://www.topic.com/example" then it is ok
but if you are showing in blog as
"http://www.topic.com/blog/example" and in forum as
"http://www.topic.com/forum/example" then it is wrong.
