How do I write HTML code in Fireworks?......

Is there any particular way I can type a simple code script into Macromedia Fireworks, (javascript in this case) then edit the
content there.

I don't think you can. Firworks is image editing software, and while it will export certian things in HTML/JavaScript, I don't think you can add custom code before you export.

I didnt think so either, Javascripted items are originally created in that program and then exported. The thing is, there are many limits. I tried importing a recent item (Javascripted html) and when I viewed it in Fireworks, it did not have the same effects necessary (for example, clicking a button and a pop up menu appears)....
