Im not sure if you can do this in HTML at all but just tell me what language if you know. I want to make a webpage that can execute a program. Like you click on a link and the program starts. I don't want to download it and open it. I want it to run it right when I click. Thanks.

emule is a pain to use, takes days, but for full length movies nothing beats ... man this really isnt the place to be talking about this is it lol. Back to the subject. A web page cannot just execute any program. There is security involved. Basically the program has to be programmed to start at the request of a page. You cant have a link trigger windows search to open 40 times looking for jpeg files to flood a users comp or anything like that. Nor can you trigger trojans and things.
