netscape.javascript.JSException: Unableto obtain Document object

Hi! :)

I hope someone of you can give advice for my problem. Does any of you recognize the following error message from javascript??

"netscape.javascript.JSException: Unableto obtain Document object
at sun.plugin.Appletviewer.getDocumentBase(Unknow n Source)
..."

I get it while loading an applet, after (or while) calling a js-function that pass the parameters from the html-page to the applet.
The Error ocurres regularly using IE v 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.021108-1929
and Windows XP :( . With Windows 2000 do not get the error....works everything perfectly!!
Do you have an Idea why is it produced? Is it a Bug from Windows XP or IE,,..??

As far as I know, Micro$oft has a case with Sun.
