Does anyone know where I can get a discounted student version of the new Photoshop CS and similar programs?

My school software store for some reason does not carry it.

thanx

JourneyEd (http://www.journeyed.com/) has it for just under $300.

I hate Adobe.
The prices for such things like Graphic editors are way too high.

No single person is ever going to buy it.

Prices do seem a tad steep, but it's worth it. ;)

And people do buy it - people buy it all the time. :D

I need to proof-read my posts...

while it is definately second tier, the GIMP is a nice free alternative to photoshop for those who can't afford it, however I don't believe it can do gif's, since they are proprietery and all...

Heh, all my imgs are .gifs.. so that'd suck for me. But I have my dad's copy of photodeluxe (a version of photoshop) to use, so I'm good.
