Adding a code to make a picture become aim buddy icon

I am currently developing a AIM buddy icon site, but my question....

I need to make it so when you click the picture, it changes your buddy icon for you, but i ahve been unsucseful onfinding one i have used 2 diffrent ones but they dont work, the first i had when you clciked the pic it just made the animation stop so did the second one..

that is the site but i used that code and when u click a pic it just makes all the icons stop being animated? is there a better script
