does anybody know how to check with Javascript whether a port is open or closed ?

There must be a way. Sombody told me that it is possible, but he didnt told me how ! So please guys check again, if possible.

why must there be a way?, is there a way you could get a website to maek me a cup of tea? no, there doesnt have to be a way to do anything, you may be confused with java or something else, its not possible with js
