Hi :)
I can't afford anything like photoshop. So im looking around for good free image editors. I already have the gimp, I dont get along well with it though...;) Is there anything else out there?
ps. I'm not interested in anything that contains spyware/adware/crapware.
Thanks in advance.
the GIMP is packaged with Redhat 9, and is comprable to photoshop with the exception of Gif support

if its just resizing/cropping/adding effects/sharpening etc etc and other simple stuff that you want the program for then i recommend IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com). Its free and very easy to use but is also very simple. There are also quite a few free plugins you can download for it to upgrade it.
Its free from allware!!
Otherwise you can get 30 day free trials of Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop and Fireworks from their websites if your looking for something more powerful.
There dont seem to be many free good graphics programs out their.

You sure you can't afford it? The student version of Photoshop CS can be nabbed at 300 bucks, as I recall. You could probably get Photoshop for cheaper - maybe under 200.

Hmmm... you might have to stretch. ;) I think PS Elements is only like 80, 90 bucks. And if there's a student version, it might just be within your budget. :) But if there isn't - still, it's only like 80, 90 bucks.

I may be able to assist you in the *ahem* "procurement" of some good image creation and editing software if you're not against that sort of thing.
