I have always been able to play chess at Chess Any Time.com (http://www.chessanytime.com/play.php) . But recently I tried to do "windows update" and the computer shut down half way, when I reset the computer I could no longer play chess there any more and no other class files are appearing (using IE or Netscape) instead of the login thingy appearing it just looks like a picture which didnt load.
I tried updating windows again, tried downloading the plugin thingy by that link, but nothing worked. Can anyone tell me whats wrong?

Have you installed the JVM? Java Virtual Machine.
Class files are created when you compile Java applications.

What method are you using to complie the application?
javac.exe will complie the .java file.
java.exe will execute the application.
Can you please show me what you are doing to complie?
Regards.

I do not think he is making java aps or applets buntine, I think he is having plugin problem. If it were a java compilation issue I would ask what compiler are you using, I prefer jcreator myself. I freaken hate java plugins, whenever I go to a site with a applet it starts java web start... stupid sun.

exactly. If that is not seeing stuff then you did not config it with j2sdk properly.
