I need help with what I should think would be a simple cart. However, finding out not so simple for me. I would like to know if there is anyway to use a simple cart without any kind of outside server or cgi-bin etc. all i need this to do is let the customer select a few items and have it posted to maybe another page in the site that only i can veiw. I don't need to be able to accept money (yet). Can anyone help me?
This in kind of what i had in mind :

Unfortuantly, it will have to done server side. The best way to do it would be to do it with either ASP, ASPX, or PHP. HTML isn't scripting, it's only for markup, you'll have to use some type of scripting language. Since it's a shopping cart, you would REALLY want to do it serverside. Perhaps the guys in the ASP/X or PHP forums could better help you with this problem. :)

http://www.angelfire.com/ky3/market/ get a new host. Angelfire will not support any server side scripting. So if you want to make one of these things you are going to need to move.
