I use www.mals-e.com is a great cart bolt-on thingy. The best thing about it is it's free. If you fancy seeing how I used it check out www.musiconthemove.co.uk (I'm not plugging the site by the way, just look at it as an example, most of you guys seem to be American anyway and musiconthemove only sells in the UK, but yeah have a look if you like. I'm waffling now ain't I)

It looks like a solid site but what is the part that is using mals-e.com?

Mals-e was used for the cart. When you click on the Add to Basket button it goes to mals-e. Then with mals-e admin side of things you can link up with PayPal or Nochex or a number of other payment processing companies.
Also, what do you think of my little logo? That's the best part I think!!

It's a nice looking site for sure -- but I have to say, I don't know if I would get the idea that this is a site to help me buy an MP3 player from the home page. And I'm speaking as a real consumer. I'm on my 4th MP3 player (an iPod) and so I've done my share of scouring the web for MP3 buying help.

You might put a picture of an MP3 player on the home page to help.

Did mal-e generate the HTML for the page?

Do you know, that never even crossed my mind! Which, as a designer I should know better! The site is currently in the process of being optimised mind you, so hopefully when people type in mp3 players into google then motm will be up there on the list.

mals-e handles all the HTML after the add to basket button is pressed. It actually goes to mals-e's own webspace which is on a secure server. But it's so easy to do, you only need to know the basics of HTML coding to do it.
