Disable remember me feature

Is there a way to disable the popup "remember me" feature in a browser. It happens when you enter a secure site that requires logon.

It's implemented differently in each browser, but generally there is a checkbox somewhere on the prompt box, that will say something along the lines of don't ask to save anymore. Otherwise it's a search through the browser's configuration options.
