asp.net online books

Does anyone here know of or has tried good online free asp.net books for someone who knows no asp at all but is familiar with programming and scripting languages in general?

www.4guysfromrolla.com has a lot of good articles, should be right up your alley. You can also look at www.123asp.net and www.411aspx.com. asp.net uses vb.net which can easily be migrated to from vb6, I would say the syntax is the same but vb.net has a lot of new features, though the vb6 will still work vb.net gives you more power. Look for resources on vb.net as apposed to doing a search for asp.net because asp.net is also commonly done with c# and can also be done in c++.net jscript.net j# delphi and many more.
