Does anyone know where I can get webhosting? buntine 03-24-2004, 07:52 AM There are literally 1000's of web hosting companies floating around. Some are better than others. www.nevidia.com is my host, who have been great so far. Most legitimate companies will allow you to sign up online by filling out some forms. Regards. sclark 03-24-2004, 11:05 AM Not just to toot our own horn, but we've got a very detailed list of web hosts that you can search for specifically what you're looking for: http://webhosts.thelist.com/ We don't do any hosting, or have anything to do with those hosts that are listed, but it's a very comprehensive listing. melonbelly 03-24-2004, 06:52 PM Thanks for that guys. I went with Nevida. It looks pretty good. Thanks again:) Daniel T 03-24-2004, 09:59 PM Another great host mjdimick recommended to me is http://zacknetwork.net/ . It's 100% free, no ads, PHP, unlimited storage, unlimited bandwidth. I haven't tried it personally, but it looks pretty SWEET! -Dan spufi 03-25-2004, 12:52 AM Originally posted by DanieLTomaS Another great host mjdimick recommended to me is http://zacknetwork.net/ . "March 21, 2004 All Bad Things Happened Today Today was not a very good day. Early this morning, we had a DNS server crash and all the domain names were down for a good part of the day. I apologize for this issue, but it seems that the DNS is slowly, but surely coming back online. Everything should be fully functional by this evening. Also, we are cutting down on accounts and not accepting anyone. The server is EXTREMELY over-crowded and members are abusing the server. Accounts will be deleted without notice tomorrow. So, backup your files just in case." Daniel T 03-25-2004, 12:54 AM Originally posted by spufi From their site... "March 21, 2004 All Bad Things Happened Today Today was not a very good day.
