Hi

I have a lot of favorites stored on my computer and was wondering if there was a way that these could be categorised from within my browser window.

Im also trying to find a way in that all the favorites within Explorer can be exported into an HTML page.

Please Help.

Any Help Greatly Appreciated.

Daniel

Click on the "Favorites" option in your browser. You should see an option called "Add" or something like it. Click on it and look for "New Folder." Name the folder whatever you want, and then click and drag any of your favorites into that folder.

You have a folder called "Favorites" stored on your PC, so just do a search on it and you maybe could upload the folder to your site if you wanted to. Not sure exactly what you want to do with your favorites on a web page, but you could upload them that way.

Step 1
Download and install Netscape 7.
Step 2
Import your IE favorites.
Step 3
Find the file bookmarks.html and place it on the net.
Step 4 (optional)
Never use crappy IE again now that you got a real browser ;).

IE is not crap. NS 6.2 is crap. NS 7.0 is pretty good though. Windows is crap...

If you think so, please explain why you feel that way, becuse according to my criterias even NS 6.s is a vastly superior browser then even IE 6.

For starters
* IE 6 has a LOT more severe security holes then NS 6.2
* NS 6.2 renders standards compliant webpages much better then latest IE 6

6.2 is only trash in my opinion. It isn't that bad though, just worse than 7.0. I am talking about IE in general as being the best. In my opinion, IE 5.5 is the best one ever of IE.

Ok.. can you state what you build your opinions on...

Right now you just say that NS 6.2 is crap and trash, but IE (which is worse then NS 6.2 in rendering and security) is just greate.
Why?

And here I thought the browser wars were over. :D

In IE go to File | Import and Export. Use the Wizard that pops up and export to Netscape format, a html file as Stefan said. There are also oodles of free utilities that can do it.
