Hey.. simple quick question just so I don't waste my time making my own.. on Pyro's site (http://www.ryanbrill.com/), as well as others, he has unique buttons for the valid xhtml, and css, as well as php. i was wondering if these are something that are downloaded from somewhere, like the the w3 buttons, or if they've been created by the user, and if they are, is this frowned upon to use an alternate image,...?

Ok, thanks. Mods, feel free to delete this thread at will.. I doubt anyone in the future will ask about etiquette of creating a diff version w3's imgs.

I could be mistaken, but most buttons you see like that are probably make with this app (http://kalsey.com/tools/buttonmaker/) (or one just like it, since I remember seeing another one before, I just can't remember where).

Ah. That's a good app.

Ah, WTF? I made an image with it, and it says, in a verbatim quote The image “http://projep.t35.com/bg/php_powered.png” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. Same with The image “http://projep.t35.com/bg/css_styled.png” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Try exporting/saving it again. That has happened to me a couple of times with images I made in FW, and it worked after a saved/exported them again. If it still doesn't work, it is something wrong with the app.

Alright, I'm trying that right now. Well, opening and saving it again as PNG in photodeluxe...

OK... anyways, what's weird is that the PNG's work fine on my home comp, but then "contain errors" when uploaded...

I think the W3C might have some legal issues concerning that. Vladdy mentioned it once, but I don't know about any of the details.

Yeah.. that's a LARGE part of the reason I asked...
