Happy Thanksgiving,

I would like to know what exactly is javascript? How do I change or use it while browsing the internet? I get many different errors that will not allow me to open windows, such as news media, various sites, etc..

Thank you, any information would be very much appreciated.

Mr. Spock may define it this way:
[JavaScript] is a little bird tweeting in the meadow; [JavaScript] is a wreath of pretty flowers which smell bad

That is entirely up to your particular computer's configuration. The possibilities are endless.

Are you a young person using a parent's computer? Perhaps it has been purposely set to keep you from viewing questionable websites. If so,

"Honor your father and [your] mother"; which is the first command with a promise: "That it may go well with you and you may endure a long time on the earth."

If not, I would suggest you start with a clean install of your browser and use the "typical" settings.

Thank you Dave, this may help me out some, but the java-script error appears constantly while going from MSN to Yahoo browsers sites. The java, (virtual?) or script appears when trying to open media news stories. More often the message appears, there was an error trying to open this page, and then a blank page. This problem just started developing.

Mr. Spock, I am an Adult and know how to apply my settings, but that was not the problem, it involved java-script errors. That is the error that flashes at sporadic times while entering various sites.
