Does AOL care about cap letters?

the same as
Abc@aol.com ?

I am trying to configure sendmail for a client and it's not working with all small letters.

Email addresses should be case insensitive. That's not to say AOL has a bug free mail system, though. If it's case sensitive it's wrong.

I've had problems in the past with this, so yes, I think they can be case sensitive on AOL. They shouldn't be, as Ray said, but there you go.

AOL is not case sensitive, must be something else.

EVIL/AOL has given me problems in the past, but not at regular intervals. sometimes if i were to type (for example only) peofeo@aol.com instead of PeOfEo@aol.com, it would come back user unknown, but other times not. i blame the system.
