Damn DreamWeaver

When I open a file in DreamWeaver, then save it to a different place than the original, DreamWeaver goes throught the file and changes all the link to external resources, like src, href, etc. How do I stop it from doing this? I looked through the preferences and couldn't find anything about it.

hello Daniel,

i too experienced that problem and no route through Dreamweaver to stop the current problem has been discovered.

i reccomend you find the files manually on your computer and move them manually rather than through Dreamwevaver.

In all fairness, Dreamweaver are actually helping web design novices who do not really understand linking to external sources and this saves them encountering further problems.

so summarising; you can't do it through dreamweaver, moving files that is, unless you want all the links to external sources, stylesheets, images etc to change wiith the actual page.
