Loading Random background Images

Hi. I'm new here and I'm very happy to meet all of you :)

I have a question pertaining JavaScript; are the codes to load a random image/picture same as loading a random background image?

I want to put an image as a background, and whenever users visit my site or refresh the page it will load a random background image. Can anyone advise?

I'm new to JavaScript so please do go easy on me!

Again, no problem. I don't believe Internet.com/JupiterMedia is affiliated with Kirupa, but we have our own simlar site called FlashKit (http://www.flashkit.com/).
