I am having problems connecting to the internet via my dial-up modem. Well, I can get a connection, but none of my programs or Web Browsers will get connected.

I have had this problem a few days before, but it all went back to normal after I disable my network card (not needed here). And now this starts again (even with NIC disbled).

I have two comupters using the same phone line, and the second one works (everything connects). But the one that works isn't available during the day, which means I can't have internet in the day.

I have put the same Internet option preferences on the other computer. I dont have any firewall activated. I have runned a scan which found nothing.

Could you please help me on this?

see if you can ping an internet address?
if you can thenthere is problem at ur ISP(DNS resolution issue).
If you can not that means there are some corruptions in your TCP/IP installation
