Hi There.

I got an Access file (6.5 MB) and I would like to know if there's any way I can compress it after all of the details are inside.

I just want to save space. that's it.

Open the database with Access and then select Tools|Database Utilities|Compact and Repair Database from the menu. Outside of that you're looking at a Zip utility.

my access file was 6.5 MB and now it's only 280 K.
is it posibble?!?!

It's real funny how that happens!

Haven't seen anything to that extreme, but depending on what you've been doing, and the last time you compressed it, it's theoretically possible to have a compression of that size.
