It would take too long but basically I was born a genius, went to school and university then became a professional slacker... Then one day the Dark God of XHTML appeared to me in a dream and told me to become the XHTML Master.

But you have to remember he is a proficient loafer hence why his biography was a little short.

Nar, perfection is so late 90's
Born here, raised here, err grew up here, lived here, live here, will live hear for the next days, uhh... Started Web Dev 'bout two years ago, or so... Started with a humongous HTML 4.0 book that a friend lent me for like two weeks... Before that I did a lot of computer stuff on reprogramming SNES video games, and I did a lot of reading on computer history in an old VB 2.0 book. :p I've never taken any classes, last year I got a JavaScript book (which wasn't nearly as good as I'd have liked... I wouldn't recommend [i]"Advanced JavaScript Techniques (http://wired-man.com/)" to anyone... I'd go with The JavaScript Bible or JavaScript: The Definitive Guide. Too bad I made the wrong choice... A new JavaScript book isn't worth the $50, for me, since I tend to avoid using it. And XHTML/CSS is too easy... I could use a PHP book, but then I have PHP.net and Zend.com, which teach me all I need to know. And if I still can't figure it out, I have this great, big, awesome, radical forum full of Mozilla zealots, Micro$oft haters, Micro$oft err lovers, and all kinds of other energetic people whom I can ask just about anything I want - especially now with the addition of this forum - and am sure to get some kind of an answer (usually an accurate one).
That's... uh, a brief but detailed-in-some-parts story of... the last two years of my life. :D

I dunno. It always seems that the people who are doing the thing before the thing becomes a fad are called posers when the thing becomes a fad.

No, those people just have influence, they aren't posers. Posers are the people who try to do the thing because it is a fad, even if they make total asses of themselves.

yeah, i almost thought that, but then i realized: it made it through the filter, so it can't be that dirty. but of course, i'm sure that since it's on the internet, which was started from such a delightful acronym as ARPANET, that it's perfectly alright.
i wish...

Well when everyone is a mod its just not cool. Its like communism, when no one is poor and everyone has a few bucks and some vodka soaked bread, it just makes the previously well off want to get richer and make the poor poor again. Thats a terrible analogy, but when everyone is a mod it is no longer rarified air us mods are breathing, so we need to opress you guys :p

And anyway, mods are only semi-cool. Everyone knows that super-mods and admins are sexier. :D

fat chance getting one of those. Who is an evil dead 3 army of darkness fan besides me? I have that on my machine. I also have tranformers the movie, enemy at the gates, office space, and probably one of the best movies ever, scar face. Also the animatrix but that is annoying... it jumps around so confusing no plot.

While we're at it, we might as well toss in a few video game console forums, a house keeping forum, and a law studies forum. The Coffee Lounge's purpose is to contain all the posts that would otherwise have gone in other off-topic forums.
